I came across this video earlier today and I wish everyone could see it. It’s such an inspirational story, it brought tears to my eyes.
A 17 year old boy, Zach Sobiech, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of bone cancer and had only months to live. Instead of sitting around waiting for it to happen, Zach turned to music and peacefully said goodbye.
It’s stories like these and people like Zach who makes you look at your life and the people around you and make you really appreciate the way things are, by just focusing on the positives and enjoying it while it last.
Life is such a precious thing and you never know what could come your way. Yes there are tough situations in life but just like Zach and his family, you could turn a tough situation into a positive, happy one. Acceptance of both the bad and good, is key.
There are so many things in the video Zach said that is really inspiring for a 17 year old. At the beginning of the video he said “You don’t have to find out you’re dying to start living” and hes right. Everyone will die one day, but you never know when it might happen. Life is short, so live your life to the fullest everyday, doing things that makes you happy and the people around you happy. Look at things with optimism and turn the bad into good.
